SquidVault Legacy is part of your legacy and a tool that allows you to provide important personal and financial information to your Personal Representatives.

Whether you unfortunately become incapacitated or pass away, it's important to leave the right information for the right people. SquidVault messages allows you to achieve this.

Click on the add new person button to provide specific guidance such as funeral wishes, guidance pertaining to specific personal possessions or even a personal informal wish.

Personal Representative

Please tell us who you wish to access your SquidVault account in the event of your passing away or losing mental capacity.

This should be either be your:

Executor (in the event of death)
Attorney (in the event of losing mental or physical capacity)

It's important that you preserve a copy of your Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney within the Vault and the people you nominate should reflect the above.

To attain access to your SquidVault account, your Personal Representative will require the following:

In the event of death (A copy of the Personal Representative's government issued ID, a copy of your Will (if not contained within your SquidVault) and a copy of your Death Certificate).
In the event of losing mental or physical capacity (A copy of the Personal Representative's government issued ID, The original registered Lasting Power of Attorney and a Medical Report from a GP or Doctor).

On receiving the evidence above, your Personal Representative will be granted access to your SquidVault account. Only the Personal Representative will be provided access. It is your responsibility to inform the Personal Representative about your SquidVault account.

If your Personal Representatives do not satisfy the above security checks, they will not attain access to your SquidVault account.

Failure to nominate the correct Personal Representative will require the following for any persons wanting to gain access:

In the event of death (with a Will) - A copy of that persons government issued ID, a copy of your Will (if not contained within your SquidVault) and a copy of your Death Certificate
In the event of death (without a Will) - A copy of that persons government issued ID, Letters of Administration and a copy of your Death Certificate
In the event of losing mental or physical capacity with Lasting Powers of Attorney in effect - A copy of that persons government issued ID, The original registered Lasting Power of Attorney and a medical Report from a GP or Doctor
In the event of losing mental or physical capacity without Lasting Powers of Attorney in effect - A copy of that persons government issued ID, A deputyship order for yourself and a medical report from a GP or Doctor

Please note, cancelling your SquidVault membership terminates the rights to pass on your SquidVault's contents to your named Personal Representative."
